On Wednesday, July 10 American Corner Karaganda and the host library welcomed Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer Drew N. Peterson from the U.S. Embassy Astana and a choreographer Tara Compton, of Company E.
The audience greatly enjoyed the theme:“Effective use of Social Media:Tools and Techniques”. Tara Ashley Compton was a wonderful lecturer. About fifty people used this unique chance to meet our special guests and practice their English!
After the informative presentation our guests also invited the American corner audience to the Kazakh Drama Theatre for a performance by the Company E Karaganda Choreography Intensive. The concert will be free and all are invited.
The art they will show will be the results of the program, which is made possible by the US Embassy and the Akimat of Karaganda.
