Karaganda RURL

On November 8, 2012, the Ari Roland Jazz Quartet performed for a full house at the Shalkyma Concert Hall in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. The program, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Astana, combined classic American jazz compositions with traditional Kazakh music showing that music is a common language spoken across ages and across cultures. Karaganda is the second stop on the group's three-city tour in Kazakhstan. Also, the Jazz Ambassadors visited the American Corner in Karaganda and had an exciting meeting with Jazz fans there!
