Karaganda RURL

On November 20, Mr. James Agee-Library General Manager from Nazarbayev University Library, (Astana) visited American Corner Karaganda. Mr. Agee also met Dina Amanzholova - director the American Corner host library. As a creative library manager, Dina, wanted Mr Agee to meet with local librarians on the topic:"Best Practices" and "Trends" (from a Western view). More than thirty librarians came to the meeting to share the problems and perspectives of the Libraries in the digital world. They were from Regional library for Children, from Regional Juvenile library and from city public library. During the meeting Dina, who is the Department of State Program alumna- contributed much to the conversation.
