Preserve of the Independence is much more difficult than its gaining

Nursultan Nazarbayev

December 16th is the national day of Independence in Kazakhstan. Independence Day is one of the nation’s most important holidays. It tells the story of the nation and represents its most important values.

On 13th December our volunteer, OlgaVolkova, have discussed the day of Independence of Kazakhstan with our AC users at Speaking club at American Corner Karaganda. Firstly, participants shared with information which they know according to the theme. As any independent state, our country had adopted its state symbols – Flag, Emblem and Anthem. And, our moderator gave them detailed information about them, also about the national currency and monuments dedicated to the Independence of Kazakhstan. Participants worked in 3 groups. By jig-saw reading they told each other about them, their meanings, what they reflect and etc. Furthermore, Olga Volkova, mentioned that citizens of any country are obliged to respect the state symbols, know and understand their symbolism. To respect Flag, Emblem and Anthem of the country means to respect and honor the country.

Then, having knew all these information, groups checked knowledge in “answer-question” game. It helped them to memorize all information. It was very informative and useful for everybody.

In conclusion, we want to say that, thanks to the President of our young and rapidly developing country, Kazakhstan, successfully completing a transitional stage in its economic and social development, is ready to provide new qualitative growth in the coming years.

We congratulate everybody on the Day of Independence of Kazakhstan!!! Our best wishes!!!
